Our people can gain international experience with 18- to 24-month assignments at Deloitte locations around the world, or through shorter-term exchanges in places like Australia, New Zealand, India, and South Africa.
Supporting our communities. When we work to lift up our communities, we elevate ourselves in the process. Our firm provides financial support, but we like to get our hands dirty, too – so we support our people's volunteer commitments.
Each year on Impact Day, our people spread out into the community to make them better – planting trees, cleaning parks, painting schools, working with recent immigrants on interview skills, and much more. And in today's environment, our communities need our help more than ever.
A foundation for giving. We’re involved with or support more than 300 community organizations, including the United Way and Junior Achievement. Our efforts are driven through the Deloitte Foundation, created in 1987.
The Foundation’s vision? To be a leader in improving the quality of education, healthcare, and youth services. Some of the organizations across Canada that benefit from contributions include Acadia University, Goodwill Industries of Canada, Invest in Kids, Plan Canada, Prince George Hospice, Princess Margaret Hospital Foundation, Queen’s University, and The David Suzuki Foundation, to name just a few.
